Abstract
Der vorliegende Beitrag schlägt lokale milieuspezifische Periodika als Gegenstand der historischen Medienwirkungsforschung vor. Entsprechend der Relevanz sozialmoralischer Milieus und des Zwei-Stufen-Flusses der Kommunikation als Analyseinstrumente für die Gesellschaft der Weimarer Republik wird für die Berücksichtigung dieser Periodika als Mittel der Annäherung an Meinungen und Einstellungen in lokalen Milieugemeinschaften argumentiert. Illustriert wird ein daraus resultierendes Vorgehen am Beispiel der Vorwahlberichterstattung des Gemeindeblatts

This paper proposes local milieu-specific periodicals as a subject for the historical study of media effects. Along the relevance of social-moral milieus and the two-step flow of communication as an analytical instrument for society in the Weimar Republic, I argue for the consideration of these periodicals as a means of approaching opinions and attitudes in local milieu communities. This approach can be illustrated using the example of the pre-election reporting of the community newspaper Jüdische Wochenzeitung für Nassau and its editor Saul Lilienthal in July 1932.
